YOUNG POSITIVES SOUTH SUDAN (YPSS)
is a national Non-Profit, Non-Government Youth-Led and Women-Led Organization founded by active, dedicated and committed Young South Sudanese professionals in 2019 bringing together adolescent girl and young women as well as adolescent boys and young men living with HIV in South Sudan to accelerate the prevention, care and support services.
YPSS fully registered under the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) within the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management in accordance with NGO Act 2016 of the Republic of South Sudan.
YPSS was born on pertinent need to promote better quality of life of young people living with HIV/AIDS and to address issues of vulnerability, stigma and discrimination among youth population to enable young positives speak up their stories. And to engage YPLHIV to take charge, lead the process and protect their Human Rights for greater and meaningful involvement.
YPSS’s main focus is to serve young people living with and affected by HIV and vulnerable AGYW and ABYM in communities and improving the Quality of life of young people living with HIV/AIDS.
YPSS employs participatory approaches, strategic planning and community mobilization to find solutions that are tailored to YPLHIV. Through our partnerships with UN Agencies and INGOs, we have been responding .
