Role — Founder & Leader of Young Positives South Sudan (YPSS)
Nunu Diana Alison is the founder and Executive Director of Young Positives South Sudan (YPSS) — an NGO that works with young people (adolescents and youth) living with HIV/AIDS, as well as vulnerable adolescents and young women/men.
Under her leadership, the organisation aims to: raise awareness on HIV prevention and care for young people; advocate for rights, inclusion, and non-discrimination of young people living with HIV; support access to HIV-care services; and address social vulnerabilities such as stigma, early child marriage, and limited opportunities for youth.
YPSS also engages with issues of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender equality, and education for girls — reflecting Nunu’s broader commitment to women’s rights and youth empowerment.
The NGO is among recognized civil society organisations working in South Sudan, and is listed in international directories of organisations addressing girls’ rights, HIV, and youth advocacy.
